We pride ourselves on providing you with information to better protect yourself against fraud and identity theft. Please refer to the “Fraud Prevention Center,” “Tips to Prevent Online Fraud” and “Tips to Safeguard Your Information” on this page.
Business customers may find these tips useful as well. In addition, here are a few more recommendations to help our business customers protect themselves from fraud:
• Conduct a periodic risk assessment of all electronic banking activities and adjust accordingly.
• Ascertain who needs access to your banking systems and services and when access is no longer needed ensure it is removed in a timely manner.
• Dedicate a computer to be used solely for all online banking activities.
Unauthorized Transactions
Notify us immediately if you believe your Card or Personal Identification Number (PIN), or both, has been lost, stolen or used to complete a fraudulent transaction. These claims will be investigated and handled in accordance with our internal guidelines regarding reimbursement of fraudulent transactions. Business customers should notify the bank as soon as possible if you discover an unauthorized transaction on your business account as well. We will use all commercially reasonable means to help you resolve the matter.
If you need to report an unauthorized transaction, please call the number on the back of your card.
